Does LAYERS have a catalog?
No, we do not have a print catalog at this time.  The internet allows us to add items and update our availability everyday.  Please check the website often to see new styles!

How do e-gift certificates work?
E-gift certificates come in the form of email.  You can purchase an e-gift certificate online or in our store.   The e-gift certificate will be emailed directly to the recipient or to yourself, just enter in the valid email address of the intended recipient along with a message upon checkout.  We do not offer paper certificates or gift cards at this time.

If you have ordered from LAYERSclothing.com before you created a personal shopping account.  You may login at anytime by clicking on the “My Cart” link on LAYERS homepage.  You may update your mailing address, email address, update personal information whenever you like.  You can also contact Customer Service through your account.  You can “create a case” with any question you may have for our Customer Service department and view the response by logging into your account and checking “case status”.  Or you can simply email help@layersclothing.com with any questions you may have.

Yes, we update the site with new styles and with styles that are sooo popular and out of stock we remove them from the website.

PLACING AN ORDER

Coupon Codes
Coupon codes can be redeemed during the order checkout process after inputting your credit card and billing information.  To redeem enter the coupon code in the “coupon code” field during checkout.  The coupon code reduces the subtotal of your order and does not apply to sales tax or shipping costs.  Sign up to receive news and promos on layersclothing.com to start receiving special coupon codes today!

Payment Options
LAYERSClothing.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.  We also accept ATM/Check cards with the Visa or MasterCard logos on them.  We do not accept cash, checks or CODS.  Your credit card must be accompanied by the correct billing address, so unfortunately those Visa and AmEx gift cards cannot be redeemed online.

International Orders
We do offer shipping on international orders.  All orders outside of the United States must select the International Shipping option upon checkout (that includes you too, Canada!). Please be aware that orders shipped outside of the US may be subject to local customs fees or duties.  Every country has different procedures and fees for incoming packages.  LAYERS does not have information on customs or duties, and we are unable to estimate these charges.  Please check with the proper local authorities before placing your order.  LAYERS is not responsible for non-paid import taxes, nor will LAYERS issue any refunds or exchanges for deliveries that have been refused for non-payment of import taxes. Shipping times for international orders will vary by country.  LAYERS cannot guarantee delivery dates on International Orders. Please note:  International orders can potentially become delayed in Customs beyond 10 days.  If it’s been over 20 days and your order has not yet arrived please contact Customer Service.

Your order didn’t go through?
If your order did not go through the first time, please carefully read the error message.  Please do not click “submit” more than once.  If you’re uncertain about whether or not your order has been processed, contact Customer Service and tell us what your error message reads and we will help figure out what occurred during your order processing. Please note that each time you receive and error message and try to resubmit the order you will have a pending charge for EACH attempt on your credit card.  The charges will drop off automatically  within 3-5 business days depending on the issuing bank.  Only one charge will actually go through on your account if you successfully submit the order and receive an order confirmation.  If you do not receive an order confirmation please contact Customer Service to have your order taken over the phone and pending charges removed from your account.

AVS Mismatch
AVS Stands for Address Verification System.  Make sure you’re entering the correct billing address as shown on your credit card billing statement.  For your security, our site verifies the billing information you enter with your credit card issuing bank. Please note that each time you receive and error message and try to resubmit the order you will have a pending charge for EACH attempt on your credit card.  The charges will drop off automatically  within 3-5 business days depending on the issuing bank.  Only one charge will actually go through on your account if you successfully submit the order and receive an order confirmation.  If you do not receive an order confirmation please contact Customer Service to have your order taken over the phone and pending charges removed from your account.

Duplicate Transaction
You were so excited about your new clothes you accidentally clicked something twice!  This means more than one transaction has been placed in a short period of time.  Please contact Customer Service to make sure you’re not getting more than one order.

Declined
We’re sorry, but due to insufficient funds, your transaction was declined.  You should either try using another credit card or call the credit card company in question.

How do I know if my order was submitted?
Before you checkout, make sure to double check the info you entered is accurate, especially your email address.  If you have successfully placed a purchase, your checkout page will give you an order reference number, and you will immediately be sent a confirmation email receipt with your order information.  Your email confirmation will receipt will have the amount that was deducted from your credit card.  If you have placed multiple orders, you will receive a confirmation email for each individual order successfully placed.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, LAYERS Clothing accepts returns of regular priced, unwashed, unworn merchandise within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund, minus shipping.  A refund will be made in the payment form originally received.  All product, including swimwear, must have its original lining and tags attached, or a refund cannot be extended. Any sale items purchased are not eligible for a refund; however, the items may be exchanged.  Please ensure the items sent back are through a traceable and/or insurable method as LAYERS Clothing is not responsible for any returned packages not received. Please complete the return/exchange form to include with your package. (Return/Exchange Form)

Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, any unworn, unwashed merchandise may be exchanged within 30 days of receiving your order. After ordering, you will receive an email confirmation.  You will then receive an email when our awesome and lightning fast shipping department has pulled your order and packaged it for shipment. Address Corrections
There is a $10.00 charge for any UPS address changes on packages that need to be re-routed during delivery due to an incorrect address, which is the same fee we are charged for correcting the address.  Please be sure that you enter the correct shipping address during checkout.

ABOUT YOUR ORDER

Help, my order hasn’t arrived yet!
If your order was placed before noon MST, it will ship within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).  Once your order has been shipped, you will immediately receive a shipping confirmation via email that will link you to the courier provider you have already chosen.  You can check on your order status whenever you like.  If your order still hasn’t been received within the allotted ship dates, we advise you check with your neighbors, roommates, or building manager if applicable.  Maybe someone else has your new clothes!  If your order has not arrived within 10 business days, please contact Customer Service with your order reference number and will help locate your package.

Help, multiple transactions were deducted from my account!
Don’t panic!  More than likely, you ran into some trouble placing your order and placed multiple orders by accident.  If this is the case, your credit card company could have read the multiple attempts and processed the information entered as a pending transaction.  Contact Customer Service to verify if your order has gone thru and has been processed.  Depending on your credit card company’s billing cycle, and whether or your order was processed or not, your pending transactions should clear.

Can you cancel my order?
Contact Customer Service ASAP to notify us that you wish to cancel your order.  Your order may be cancelled prior to fulfillment.  Once your order has reached the fulfillment process unfortunately, it cannot be cancelled or modified.

How does my Stylist receive credit for my order?
To ensure your Stylist receives credit for your order you can call them anytime and place your order with them over the phone.  If you would like to place an order on layersclothing.com there are two options:  1) If you’ve never shopped on layersclothing.com before, you can create a new account and enter your Stylist’s Partner Code on the initial login page of creating your account 2) If you have shopped on layersclothing.com you will need to email or call Customer Service with your order number and Stylist’s name or Partner Code.  We will be happy to “tag” your online account with your Stylists code so they will receive credit for that one order and ALL future orders you place using that account.  Please note if you create a new online account you must notify us again to tag it with your Stylist’s Partner Code.  So write down your password to your account!

What is a trunk show?
A Trunk Show is an event you can host at your home or location of your choice where you can invite your friends, family, coworkers, etc. to come and have fun shopping and trying on clothes with your Stylist.  You will receive Hostess Benefits for holding the trunk shown as shown below:

  • Complimentary fittings for you and your friends from your personal Stylist
  • Access to exclusive styles, colors, & sales.
  • Receive a complimentary hostess gift credit for hosting a successful Trunk Show
  • Best of all receive 10% of your total Trunk Show sales in LAYERS Clothing Credit to redeem on all your favorite styles!

How do I redeem my hostess credit?
After your party closes your Stylist has 48 business hours to input all the orders from the party.  As soon as your Stylist send LAYERS your Hostess Reconciliation Form it will take us up to 48 business hours to process it and email you the credit for your party.  You may redeem that credit via layersclothing.com and enter the code in the “gift certificate” field upon checkout or you can give us a call and we’d be happy to take your order over the phone.

How do I wash and care for my LAYERS?
We offer unique fabrics that allow comfort, softness and long lasting wear.  Each garment includes a care label that should be followed carefully.  We cannot accept returns or exchanges on items that are ruined due improper care.  Although many of our fabrics can be dried using a dryer we recommend as with ANY garment to hang dry as this will prolong the life of the fabric.
